I've decided to have a philosophy
about all
merchandise that has my name on it.
Basically, it's this:
I don't want there just to be a cool Chance shirt (or
piece of merchandise). I simply want it to be a cool
shirt. Something you'd find comfortable, that's stylish
and just feels good to wear. The kind of shirt I was going
for was a more vintage, worn in feel. I really prefer this over all others and, without
knowing exactly what brand to look for, I went on a search
to get just that style of shirt.
Description of Chance
American Apparel® shirts:
100% Fine Jersey cotton, combed for softness and
comfort
Flattering, stylish fit on virtually any body type
Baby Rib cotton stretchable collar for increased
comfort and durability
Reinforced shoulder construction
to maintain shape through
repeated washings
Durable double-stitched bottom hem
About sizing:
AA shirts tends to run a little on the small
side. If you're unsure of what size to get, and you
prefer it a little baggier, get a size larger than
you normally get. If you prefer it form fitting,
then get the normal size. |
After much research, plus selecting the right colors (and
the right printer) I have made the decision to go with
American Apparel® shirts as the shirt brand. American Apparel®
shirts cost more than the average Hanes Beefy T, but my
attitude is what's the point in getting a cheaper shirt if
it doesn't feel good to wear? If it doesn't fit you right?
It's my belief that you'll take quality and comfort over
cheap.
So, the new Chance shirts will absolutely be the softest
shirts in the world. They are just amazing, and they are
even better after the first wash. I really think
you'll like the fit too because they're not stupid baggy. They are
just, for lack of a better word, stylish.
I intend for all my designs to have separate guys T's and girls
T's, and
all styles will come in small, medium, large and
extra-large. Also, if you want me to order XXL in future
designs, please let me know,
because I'm for the moment assuming that XL will be large
enough.
I'm really excited about these shirts, and hope that every Friend of
Chance out there will get one.
About Shirt Printing, and this goes out to bands who
might be reading this:
Every so often you come across a company that absolutely
does right by you. It's not just quality, or customer
service, it's just overall vibe. You just get this sense
that you found someone to be a part of your team.
That's what I found in
Seatthole
Shirts, the company who is now doing my shirts. I
was blown away not only by their shirts and printing, but
also their relaxed attitude, their knowledge and helpfulness
and the overall way they treated me as a customer. You can
search high and low for other companies if you'd like, but
PLEASE let me help you cut to the chase:
Seatthole shirts are the way to go. I have honestly never
recommended a company so highly.
Remember to tell Django (the owner) that Chance sent you,
ok?
